CREATE YOUR OWN MUSIC FESTIVAL!!!!!!!
Introduction
Ever since Woodstock in 1969, summer music festivals have played a crucial role in the live music scene. These festivals are able to successfully combine great music, interesting people, and other artistic elements from numerous cultures. Today, music festivals thrive. Whether it be Lollapalooza, Bonnaroo, or Rock the Bells, the summer concert schedule is highlighted by these massive multi-day concerts. Your job is to create an original music festival with your group. Your festival should be a reflection on you and your groupmates' personalities and tastes. There are many things to keep in mind such as pricing, music, location, and other elements that must be carefully deliberated on before starting work on your presentation. At the end of the project, all groups will present a PowerPoint, complete with audio and visual, to the board of directors (the class). The best presentation will receive the start-up money to launch their festival (actually, you will just receive prizes from Mr. Vliek). Good luck and ROCK ON!!!
