Visit these websites and pull out as much information as you can about all of the requirements you are expected to complete. TIPS
Here are a few tips to help you find success.
1. Always keep in mind your target market. For example, if you are going to host a heavy metal festival, make sure that your merchandise is centered around what metalheads would be interested in. ALL MERCHANDISE MUST BE SCHOOL APPROPRIATE!!!
2. Do not select to many big name bands. When you build your concert schedule, you must keep in mind that all bands want to "headline", which really means they want to play at night. If you schedule too many big name bands and they have to play during the day, they might turn you down. A good balance would be to select %25 big name acts, %50 middle of the road acts, and %25 acts that are up and coming.
3. Be creative. You do not have to limit yourself to one genre or even one stage. Many festivals have side stages. This would require you to sign more acts, but would enable you to be more creative.
